The set is thought to be fancy and repulsive at the same time, beautiful hard non-organic elements often complement (by opposition) to the more repulsive and organic nature of some elements, also the colors are complementary or split complementary if possible.

We tried to organize all props by design and aesthetics, 3 sets 3 different but cohabiting aesthetics, with one protagonist element on the table.

The theme is based on the 50’s booming post-war North-American food style, which is by it’s on right disgusting yet fascinating. We selected a rich vibrant palette of colors but on their deeper side to reflect this particular style.

The shooting method was experimental in the sense that we got to play with food, first a clean shot, and once we where happy with the result we proceeded to experiment and disrupt the set.
